Mandy L. Lanier, O.D.
Dr. Lanier is a native of Randolph County, graduating from Southwestern Randolph High School in 1996. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 2004. In 2005, she completed her Residency in Family Practice Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and joined Academy Eye Center later that same year. Dr. Lanier is a member in good standing with the American Optometric Association and the North Carolina State Optometric Society.
Dr. Lanier volunteers with annual optometry mission trips to poverty-stricken areas of Central and South America. She has participated in missions to Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, and Mexico. She enjoys gardening, travel, photography, and playing with her dog, Abby.
